There would be no Consent Workshop without its members. Our work is due to the contribution of individuals across the globe. The Consent Workshop volunteers come from various countries including Canada, St Vincent and the Grenadines, United Kingdom, United States, and Nigeria

THE APPLICATIONS FOR 2021-2022 VOLUNTEER TEAM IS OPEN

We always need volunteers for roles, individual workshops and schools. When we do, we make public calls for them on all our social media platforms. However, you can directly contact a region head to offer specialized services.

LAGOS BASED ROLES:

Available RolesResponsibilities
Logistics OfficerThe Logistics officer based in Lagos will be responsible for driving the team to events or meetings. This person will handle arrangement, movement and transportation for the Lagos based volunteer teams, as needed
Communications Associate Communications Association will be responsible for creating and distributing proposals, communicating with clients, coming up with campaigns and setting up meetings. A liaison between TCW and external stakeholders, summarily.
Workshop Facilitator – Stipend availableThis person will be primarily responsible for facilitating workshops. Will include comprehensive training and stipends. Necessary experience needed in sexual and gender based violence. *Preference will be given to applicants with experience

REMOTE BASED ROLES:

Content Creator

Responsibilities:

  • Research on industry-related topics
  • Create various content types  with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides
  • Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics
  • Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content
  • Assisting the creative team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Collaborating with internal teams on better ways to disseminate content
  • Suggesting new ways to promote and reach potential target audiences.

Communication Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Help implement communications strategies
  • Provide administrative support to programs and internal teams
  • Draft and edit communications copy (e.g. press releases, publications, social media posts)
  • Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies
  • Update databases and media lists
  • Track projects and media exposure
  • Facilitate effective internal communications
  • Conduct research to collect useful media data
  • Have a critical eye to review content and review as well
  • Work with the monthly newsletter.

Social Media Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Manage and oversee social media content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
