Chiamaka Amechi
Based in Lagos, Amaka is a Lawyer interested in social justice issues that span across gender inequality, inclusion and citizen empowerment. She believes there are no grey areas when it comes to consent issues and perpetrators should always be held accountable.
Chioma Anita Omaka
Also one of our school representative, Chioma is a legal practitioner in Nigeria who is interested in the protection and promotion of human rights. Chioma believes that social change can be achieved and rape culture can be dismantled through education hence her contribution to the Consent Workshop. Also a support Counsel at the Stand To End Rape Initiative and a volunteer with the Amputees United Initiative, she firmly believes that human and equal rights are non-negotiable. She loves reading, eating and making resourceful friends.
Nadine Audifferen Esq
Nadine Audifferen is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and received her LLB from the University of Birmingham. She is currently based in Lagos, Nigeria and offers Pro Bono services for cases of sexual abuse, family law and employment law.
Uzezzi Fortune Edegware
Uzezzi Edegware is a 24-year-old lawyer and certified International Arbitrator. She is also a business head an owns an NGO, the “Handitdown Foundation” whose mission is to promote self-sustainability by handing down skills to the underprivileged in the society. She spends her time learning about business and literature. Uzezzi is the girl who always has a plan and a way out.
