Amani is a Lagos-Based Finance Professional, a Writer and a budding Social Entrepreneur.She feels strongly about Human Rights, Gender issues, and Mental Health. When Amani is not crunching numbers or trying to write the perfect 21st Century Love story, you can find her in conversations and causes centered around making the world a better and safer place for everyone to live in. She is passionate about positively impacting the world one conversation at a time, and is motivated by a genuine Love for humanity, which she hopes that everyone would also embrace. Idaresit Mercedes Ayeni – Nigeria

Idaresit is one of our support liaisons in Lagos. She is a 28 year old Human Resources Professional (MBA) and a Certified International Professional Manager (IPMA-UK). Married and blessed with 2 children, Idara is passionate about women and children survival, development and empowerment which she believes contributes to a nation’s strength and stability. She recently led a seminar on the role of human resource management in sexual harassment in the workplace. She views this as a platform to combat rape culture and an opportunity to help girls and women recover from traumatic experiences.

Nadine Audifferen – Nigeria

Nadine is a support liaison for The Consent Workshop in Lagos, as well as member of our legal team. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and received her LLB from the University of Birmingham.  She also offers Pro Bono services for cases of sexual abuse, family law and employment law. 

Racheal Adedamola Arogunde– Nigeria

Adedamola is a public health enthusiast with a strong interest in health systems strengthening. Her career goals are geared towards  being a resource person who is able to provide solutions to the health needs of any community and influence public health policies to ensure sustainability of such reforms and also supporting preventive, mental and social health. 

Valerie Dehinde-Joseph – Nigeria

Valerie is a pharmacist and a public health enthusiast based in Ibadan, Nigeria. She is an avid reader and volunteers for several causes including mental health, hunger alleviation and HIV/AIDS programmes. Valerie is passionate about feminism, rape culture and domestic abuse. She hopes to develop a career in social researching, health promotions and designing interventions. She also hopes to live in a world where consent is understood and accepted by every individual.

Adedamola Onabanjo- Nigeria

Adedamola helps push The Consent Workshop in high schools across Lagos. She is an IT Business Management Associate at a leading E commerce Firm in Nigeria, lover of Music, Food, Balance and most importantly, Justice. On realizing the need to balance the tipped scales that favors the perpetrators of the vile act that is rape and feeds the culture, she sought to create and sustain a society that is dedicated to the deconstruction of rape and assault. She has finally found a home in The Consent Workshop, where she can and will help to deconstruct rape and everything that enables it, beginning from the misconception of Consent
